Ayon sa nakalap na inpormasyon ay inatake sa puso ang actor noong March 28, 2023 at kasalukuyan siyang nakaratay sa intensive care unit ng Cardinal Santos Medical Center, San Juan City.
Kilala ang aktor bilang maalaga sa kanyang kalusogan at pangangatawan ngunit ang pagkakaroon niya ng problema sa puso ay hereditary o na mana sa kanyang pamilya.
Bagama’t tapos ng operahan ang actor ay isasa-ilalim pa ulit siya sa isa pang operasyon makalipas ang tatlong buwan.
Upang tuloyan daw na ma alis ang nakabarang ugat sa kanyang puso, at ng lubusan na siyang gumaling.
