Veteran Filipino actor and comedian Anjo Yllana has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry after making a fiery live stream confession, exposing what he claims is the manipulative behavior and “syndicate”-like scheming of his fellow TV host, Jose Manalo.

Yllana launched an intense verbal attack, accusing Manalo of being part of an inner circle constantly whispering advice on who to slander and who to have removed from the show.

Yllana claimed that his co-host’s ill will towards him was likely motivated by insecurity and professional jealousy, asserting that his own appearance was vastly superior to that of his rival.

The core of Yllana’s stunning revelation centered on a deep personal rift, which he described as a long-standing “wrongdoing” by Manalo. Yllana recounted that during a period when he was separated from his wife, he had a serious relationship with a dancer who was part of the Eat Bulaga family.

He described this woman as kind, hardworking, and not wealthy, and the two lived together for nearly a year. This relationship, however, became the focus of Manalo’s alleged interference.

Yllana revealed that during a heated argument with his then-girlfriend, she tearfully confessed that Jose Manalo had confronted and scolded her.

The TV host allegedly pressured the dancer to terminate the relationship, instructing her to break away from Yllana immediately by claiming that the comedian was still married.

This act of intervention, Yllana now alleges, was a deliberate move to cause a breakup, as he later discovered Manalo was pursuing the woman himself.

The actor dramatically concluded this part of his account by claiming that his former partner ultimately ended up marrying his rival, stating, “He betrayed me.” The woman is now known as Merin Maranan.

Yllana also touched upon Manalo’s complicated past, mentioning that his co-host had a previous legal issue involving a land dispute and that he had been emotional during the legal proceedings concerning his late spouse.

Despite the intense history, Yllana wished the current couple well, stating that the past is the past and he is happy for them if they are happy.

Yllana stressed that the reason he brought up the old conflict was due to recent professional provocation—specifically, the alteration of a song lyric that he felt was intended to mock him.

He passionately doubled down on his claim that Jose Manalo possesses the “worst attitude” on the set, especially when the senior hosts are absent.

He painted a picture of an arrogant individual who lacks external work opportunities because of his allegedly toxic personality, asserting, “He is someone who lacks shame.” Yllana ended his broadcast by telling his former partner, Merin, that he still keeps her old letters.
