COMEDIAN Awra Briguela responded to a social media personality who misgendered her in a comment on ABS-CBN’s post about her recent graduation from senior high school.
Content creator Sir Jack Argota, who has a facial deformity due to a cleft palate commented on the network’s congratulatory post: “Anong her? Congrats bro.”
Awra’s official Facebook page, managed by her team, replied: “Sa pagiging mabait na nga lang babawi, di pa nagawa.”
In the comments, Awra followed up with a dig at Argota’s failed political bid: “Kaya natalo nung botohan e. HAAHHAHAHA,” referring to his unsuccessful run for councilor in General Trias, Cavite.

As Awra’s supporters rallied behind her, Argota responded to the backlash by saying, “Ang OA nyo mga beh ha, I love #Awra.”
Awra recently graduated from Senior High School at the University of the East in Manila.
