Carla Abellana cries justice for slaughtered dog
Hindi napigilan ni Carla Abellana na ihayag ang kanyang nararamdamang inis dahil sa post ng Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) sa kalunus-lunos na sinapit ng isang asong nagngangalang Ron.
Noong July 4, 2025, ibinahagi ng AKF ang larawan ni Ron na wala nang buhay at may tali ang bibig.
Ikinuwento ng grupo ang buhay ni Ron, kung paano ito na-excite dahil akala nito ay ipapasyal siya ng dati niyang may-ari.
Yun pala ay ibebenta lamang siya sa halagang PHP500.
Nakasaad sa post: “MY LIFE IS ONLY WORTH P500.
“I still remember the scent of my owner’s hand. WARM. FAMILIAR. SAFE.
“That morning, he put my leash on my collar. I wagged my tail, I was excited! We would always go for walks since I was a puppy. But this time I think he was taking me somewhere special. Well that’s expected, this is a reward! YEY! I WAS A GOOD BOY!!
“But I should’ve known something was wrong when he wouldn’t look me in the eye.
“We walked for a while. Then he handed my leash to another man. A stranger. The man held a crumpled P500 bill and handed it to my owner.”

Dagdag pa sa post: “Before I even had time to ask why, the stranger tied my legs. All four. Tight. With metal wires. I cried, I screamed, I was so confused.
“But he wasn’t finish yet, he tightly tied a wire on my mouth, so I wouldn’t scream or bite. Then he shoved me inside a white sack—rough, itchy, suffocating. I couldn’t see. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t breathe.
“THEN IT HIT ME. I WASN’T GOING BACK HOME.
“I WAS SOLD.
“FOR MEAT.
“P500 – THIS IS WHAT I AM WORTH.”
Dahil sa kakulangan ng hangin, nanghina ang aso at nawalan ng buhay.
Ayon pa sa post: “My chest burned for air. My lungs collapsing in panic. I twisted, thrashed, begged—but it only made the wire around my snout tighter. My mouth was sealed shut.
“Then it all turned dark. I DIED IN THAT WHITE SACK—gasping, terrified, still trying to understand why the person I loved handed me over like trash.
“DOGS DO NOT DESERVE TO DIE THIS WAY. NO CREATURE DOES. ????
