Regine Tolentino’s Nip Slip Horror
Regine: “I’m over ‘hataw’ and I had a costume mishap.”
Regine Tolentino apologized after her nip slip during her dance number on It’s Showtime last Friday, July 14, 2023.
Regine’s wardrobe malfunction occurred during her and Sheree’s opening dance number on the Kapamilya noontime show.
Both were wearing sexy outfits.
Regine was accidentally seen because her top costume was not secured due to the rush before the performance.
The program’s production team was quick to delete the video of Regine and Sheree’s dance number.
Their performance on this It’s Showtime episode is no longer available to watch.
A few hours after the incident, Regine posted on Facebook to explain why the wardrobe malfunction occurred.
Regine said that their production number was based on Britney Spears. They said that their preparation for their dance number was short.
Because of the rush, Regine’s glam team didn’t fix her outfit properly.
“We had a short time preparing for the live performance, that my staff from Rta [Regine Tolentino Atelier] @Arlene and Mama Otet from It’s Showtime were still securing my costume seconds before going on stage,” Regine posted.
“Because of the rush and stress before hitting the stage the other nipple tape was not secured properly but the costume itself was super safe.”
Because of her hard-earned dancing, Regine didn’t even realize that her breasts were showing.
“Unfortunately, when I started dancing, I was already over ‘hataw’ and I had a costume mishap that I discovered halfway through my performance.”Regine only realized it when the production people and It’s Showtime hosts signaled her to go.
Regine said, “Some close and concerned ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts, dancers and staff were shouting during my dance but I couldn’t understand until I looked down.
“I was so terrified and humiliated. However, the show must go on and I finished my dance.
“I would like to extend my apologies for this unfortunate incident. I appreciate the effort of the It’s Showtime! family for protecting me by removing my part on Youtube and disabling the fast forward and rewind feature.”
In the edited version of that episode of It’s Showtime, Regine and Sheree’s dance number was cut.
All that’s left to see is the end of the dance number. It’s clear how Regine became conscious of checking her chest to make sure her dress was in order.
Among the hosts Regine thanked were Vhong Navarro, Amy Perez, and Vice Ganda.
Regine participated in the “Rampanalo” segment of the show and after the segment she apologized for what happened.
She said, “I just want to apologize for what happened, during my production.
“It was not intentional because it was a live show, so I apologize for the costume malfunction earlier.”
